Side Effects of Profollica

It is very common to see natural supplements promoted as being free of side effects. The same claim is made about the Profollica system for hair loss treatment. Do you want to hear the truth? Natural remedies can also produce certain side effects, especially if you fail to follow instructions on proper usage.

As harmless as they might appear, vitamins can bring about safety concerns when used inappropriately. What side effects can Profollica possibly produce? Read on to find out.

Profollica

Profollica Side Effects

The Profollica hair loss system includes a wide variety of ingredients. Since these are natural, it may be argued that you need not worry about their safety. But then, a good number of them may produce side effects when taken in excessive quantities.

Take the case of the ingredient Panax ginseng. This herbal remedy has been used for thousands of years for medical purposes. That fact alone may be taken as an evidence of tolerability and safety. However, a common side effect of the root extract is insomnia. Other possible side effects include headache, diarrhea, dizziness, and loss of appetite.

Ginkgo biloba is another ingredient in Profollica that may cause adverse reaction. The popular herbal extract, commonly used for resolving memory issues and treating blood disorder, features here to improve circulation in the scalp. Possible side effects include dizziness, headache, restlessness, and vomiting.

Boasting potent antioxidant properties, Kigelia africana fruit extract is one of Profollica ingredients that help to block DHT production. Increase in testosterone levels typically results from use – some describe this as a side effect, albeit a good one for men. The plant, which is highly toxic in its most natural form, may cause a decrease in the number of white blood cells.

Profollica also includes propylene glycol, which is present in the liquid formulation of the drug minoxidil. The ingredient is commonly reported to cause irritation, redness, and burning sensation. It may give rise to an allergic contact dermatitis as well.

The amino acid tryptophan can cause dry mouth, muscle weakness, indigestion, gas, and blurred vision.

In addition, some of the ingredients in the Profollica system may interact with some medications you may be taking. Examples include selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) used to treat depression. This is why it is advisable to always check with your doctor before using supplements.

Is It Safe to Use Profollica?

With these side effects, you may be wondering if it’s still a good idea to use this hair loss treatment. We think it is. The side effects we mentioned here and others are only likely to result when you take the affected ingredients in high amounts. The doses of each in Profollica are on the low side, so you need not be scared, unless you are highly sensitive to any of them.

Focus appears not to be on the amount of each ingredient in the production of Profollica, but rather on creating a synergistic blend that delivers to expectation.

The side effects of the Profollica system are not as scary as those of minoxidil or Propecia. The latter drug is even scarier, with reports of it causing persistent erection problems and low libido. You may also experience rapid or irregular heartbeat, chest pain, and weight gain when you use these medications.

It is obviously not 100% correct to claim that Profollica cannot produce side effects. You are only less likely to experience such when using the system for hair loss treatment. The quantities of ingredients that may cause side effects are low. We didn’t see any user reports of these while researching for this article.

But it is still advisable to talk to your doctor before using the supplement. This will avail you of information on safety, considering your medical history and the medications you may be taking.
